The New MINI was launched into the UK in July 2001. It has been a tremendous success both here and abroad. Now in its second incarnation, the oldest early versions are now nearly 9 years old.
Many buyers of these cars took out the BMW TLC programmes, which particularly on earlier cars will have ended. The owner then has to decide continue to use BMW MINI dealers with the high charges or an independent. The cars are not too complicated to repair but specialist knowledge and the use of original parts is desirable.
