Brakes with Motest
When we replace both the brake discs and pads and your braking system is 100% efficient, you automatically qualify for our exclusive No Quibble 36/36 warranty against defects or wear. If neither are serviceable within the warranty period we will replace them without charge. Remember, unlike other so called ‘lifetime warranties’, ours covers the discs as well as the pads.
How does it work?
Before we fit the Pagid parts, we will carry out a free complete and comprehensive brake inspection when taken wth our 36/36 warranty to ensure your braking system is 100% efficient.
The principle checks are:
- Check brake fluid efficiancy
- Wheel and bearings condition
- Check condition of discs/drums
- Check condition of brake pads/shoes
- Check caliper condition and operation
- Check wheel cylinder condition and operation
- Check handbrake cables
- Check brake hoses and pipes for condition and leaks.
Once we have fitted the parts, you will qualify for a full 36 month/36,000mile warranty with your invoice. The details are also registered by us with Pagid. If there are any claims within the terms of the warranty, we will replace the discs and pads completely FREE of charge.
Terms and conditions 36/36
Extended Warranties are available for purchase for the Motest and Pagid 36/36 warranty as listed under T&C’s on the website - www.motest.co.uk.
These extended warranties may be purchased up to 14 days after the inspection and fitting of your brake pads and discs.
Where an extended warranty is purchased, it will replace the 12-month standard warranty period with the extended warranty period.
Motest is entitled to terminate the extended warranty by e-mail or letter notice to the customer, in the event that, in Motest’s opinion, the product is used contrary to its specifications, in this case Motest will pay a pro-rata refund for the unexpired period of the extended warranty less administration expenses.
The 36/36 warranty is not transferable and only applies to the person who has made the original purchase.
Please ensure you retain your invoice and brake inspection copy, as proof of purchase is required before work can be carried out.
To make a claim for your warranty, please take in your vehicle, your receipt and brake inspection copy to any MOTEST where an inspection will take place and report given.
Before any work can be carried out under the warranty, MOTEST will conduct a full inspection report.
The 36/36 warranty does not include any other vehicle/braking components other than the brake discs and pads purchased.
The 36/36 warranty is subject to fair-use policy and maybe withdrawn if there is regular or excessive wear.
The brake pads and discs will be replaced if they go below the acceptable level as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
The warranty will cover the brake discs and pads and the labour to fit these items only.
The warranty does not include private hire or commercial taxis, modified vehicles, on/offroad motorsport or track day vehicles.
