INTRODUCING OUR CLASSIC CAR SAFETY INSPECTION SERVICE

Motest have the answer. With 18 branches across the South East, specialising in repair, servicing and MOT on all makes & models, this family company is owned by classic car enthusiast John Ball, with many of the staff also owning classics as well.
We have just introduced a Classic Car Inspection service for Historic vehicles that do not need an MOT.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT

for classic car owners?

  • 1.

Safety critical items on even the better cars, but with little use, will deteriorate over time.
  • 2.

Many classics have not had an MOT inspection for years, given the rolling 40 years exemption introduced in 2018 and vehicles pre 1960 were already exempt anyway.
  • 3.

Such an inspection can be useful when negotiating vehicle value based on condition with classic car insurers.
  • 4.

You can use this service if you are looking to purchase a classic car to find out exactly what you are buying and any hidden issues.
